Hey All,
Great news! After a lot of suggestions, and concerns from you lovely backers we have a last minute change to our European shipping!
After a few false starts, we found a great fulfillment partner, Game Quest! We finalized the final details literally minutes ago, and as promised are getting word to you folks ASAP. Game Quest helped us drop European shipping by almost half, from 27 US to 15 US.
We can’t adjust our pledge levels in the campaign after it starts, but we can introduce a new one. If you are a European Backer, please switch your order to the Game (European Adjusted Shipping) to get the adjusted rate.
Also please share this post on social media. We want to make sure everyone who backed gets that discounted rate if they miss this Update. Also maybe to encourage a few more backers ;)

New Character Sneak Peak

Hi All,
We still have a few days left, and we are closing in on our last two stretch goals! I got excited and started roughing out new characters! Here is a quick (mildly) candid shot of my desk, and a few possibilities.
We have a bit of a climb to get to that stretch goal, but I know it will be totally worth it.
Oh and to answer your question, yes that is a gelatinous cube.

Hi All,
We are coming into the final five days of the campaign! This has been a big deal for all of us at Naturalist. We were excited just to be funded, let alone to blow past our goal and get most of our stretch goals. We want to extend a heartfelt thanks for the support so far!
It's not over either. We have two more stretch goals that will include free content for everyone who backs the game, a new Legacy, and a whole set new Characters. We can hit those goals with your help.

Legacies Incoming!

Hi all,
Just a short one here to say thanks! Yesterday you all unlocked our first Kickstarter Exclusive Legacy, The Turning Cloak.
The Turning Cloak
This Legacy is unique in that the Enemy isn't flying solo. One of the Allies is secretly in league with the Enemy, and is waiting for the perfect time to strike. Throughout the crawl the Legacy specific Encounters will give the Allies clues, and the traitor opportunities to collude with the Enemy.
Remember this is a free addition to every copy of the game sold through Kickstarter and Pre-Order.
Next Up
Last update we made a mistake and announced the wrong upcoming stretch goal. Backer Extraordinaire Greg W. cued us into the slip up. Thanks Greg!
That said this time we are correctly announcing that the next stretch goal incoming is, The Heart of Shadows! And it's right around the corner at 18k.
So to directly repeat myself from last time: In the Heart of Shadows Legacy, the Enemy will have the chance to whisk an Ally to the Vault ahead of their companions. The lone Ally will face dire odds versus the Enemy, unless the remaining Allies can make it in time to save their comrade.
Again, this is another free addition for Kickstarter backers!

Stop on by Cherry Street Sundays tomorrow afternoon (July 9th) and meet Lairs Designers Pat and Sean.
If you aren't in the know Cherry Street Sundays is a free pop up festival put on my the fine folks of Place Makers. Who have very graciously asked Sean and Pat to hang out and play board games all day. It's a tough job, but they are up to it.

Hey All,
Wow, we leave the office for one monday and you folks smash through a stretch goal, and get us most of the way to the next!
We now have Wooden Character Tokens available as an add-on, and we are closing in on The Heart of Shadows!

What's different about the Next Stretch Goals?
The first two stretch goals will be made available as Add-Ons, that you can purchase at the end of the campaign.
The next three are automatically included for free with every copy of the game we sell through Kickstarter. We are super excited to make these a reality, and hope you are too.
Wooden Loot & Character Prototypes
We just got some prototype images from Basically Wooden.
The final product will look a lot different, for instance the character tokens will all be done on stained wood of their appropriate color. Even though these will change, we wanted to share the process with you.
A Quick Thanks
